This unit specifies the outcomes required to perform riggingwork at the intermediate level, which includes all the outcomes for rigging work at the basic level, and also includes rigging of cranes, rigging of conveyors, rigging of dredges and excavators, rigging associated with tilt slabs, rigging associated with demolition work, and dual lifts for licensing purposes.
Participants must be able to read and write in English and be above 18 years old.
Appropriate for those working in operational roles where they are required to
inspection of lifting gear and/or the directing of the crane/ operator in the
movement of the load.
