The proposed core unit TAELLN411 Address Adult Language Literacy and Numeracy Skills will require all trainers and assessors who wish to comply with the relevant Standards to hold this unit.
This unit is a valuable and useful addition to the TAE40110 Certificate IV in Training and Assessment and comes about in response to the current situation in Australia where significant numbers of adults in Australia are struggling with the core LLN skills to function fully effectively at work or in their personal lives.
Why TAELLN411 Address Adult Language, Literacy and Numeracy Skills
The aim of this unit is not to create LLN practitioners of Trainers and Assessors rather just provide the skills and knowledge for Trainers and Assessors to be able to understand the core LLN skill requirements of the training and ensure that the training and assessment is tailored to meet the individual requirements of the learners.
In this program you will learn how to:
- Navigate the Australian Core Skills Framework (ACSF)
- Analyse the LLN Requirements for training and assessment
- Support learners in skill development
- Identify where specialist support is required
Customised TAELLN Training Programs run in house
If you have more than 8 trainers and assessors who require the new unit we can offer in house programs for the TAELL411 Address adult language, literacy and numeracy skills which enables us to customise the program to achieve the most effective results for your organisation.
